I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Last year, I was diagnosed with stage 3B Hodgkin's lymphoma. Fortunately, after 5 rounds of chemo and 14 radiation sessions, I was clear in August! Thanks to the amazing pediatric oncology doctors and nurses at Miller Children's Hospital, I am back in school and planning for the future.

A lot of other kids have not been so lucky. In November, my friend Ethan passed away just a few weeks after being diagnosed with leukemia. Seeing what he and his family had to go through made me realize how evil cancer really is. But instead of staying sad or angry, I choose to make something good out of what I've learned. By donating, you are helping to improve our understanding of pediatric cancer causes and treatments, so that in the future we'll be able to stop any more lives from being cut short. Thank you!!
