I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Edison Cats

Hey Friends, Next Monday, Feb 12, one of my students who has been battling cancer since last May will finally get to return to school. She finished her chemo treatment and feels strong enough to join her classmates back in school. Some Edison teachers and Myself will be shaving our heads at the St. Baldricks event on March 14th, standing with those (like Cheyenne) who are battling cancer. Imagine being a 7th grader with no hair.....seeing other students and staff with shaved heads will hopefully quell some of those insecurities. Would you consider giving $10 to support my efforts? I will send you a personal picture of my shaved dome! Let's kick cancer in the Djibouti ;) forgive the Geography teacher in me!

We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
