to my dear family, friends, coworkers, and strangers alike. i am reaching out for your love and support! as you may know, i am volunteering to shave my head to encourage and help raise money for pediatric cancer research. and honestly, “braving the shave” is probably the most daring thing i’ve ever signed myself up for. but, my small act of courage will never compare to the bravery these children need every day to face their worst fears and fight with cancer. as a mother, i know just how important our babies are, the difference their innocence makes, the joy and unconditional love they bring to the table, and the power they hold as our future leaders, teachers, doctors, and everything else in between. i am taking a stand to help make a difference for these infants, kiddos, teenagers, and young adults. but, i can’t do it alone and need your help! would you accompany me in reaching my goal to help find a cure? every single penny counts and every dollar will make a difference to thousands of our youth fighting childhood cancers. together we can save lives.
