I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research
I'm shaving my head to raise money for cancer research! We host this event at Schaumburg high school every two years. This year I decided to participate because my mom is currently fighting stage 3 stomach cancer and one of my high school wrestling coaches and family friend is also fighting stage 4 cancer. As a son and friend, I feel helpless because there is nothing I can really do for these two people because doctors and medicine are on the front lines, not me. So the way I can help is to help those front line people by raising money to fund research and medicines they use to fight cancer. My goal is to raise $1000 and if I achieve this goal, I will get my head shaved in front of the whole school during an assembly on March 16. Thanks for your support
Be it known to all that this participant has dedicated at least three years of service to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation helping kids with cancer throughout all the land.
