I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research

CANCER SUCKS... let's face it.

I am participating in St. Baldrick's by raising money and getting my hair cut to donate to a child's hair replacement!

Did you know that before they turn 20, about 1 in 285 children in the U.S. will have cancer?! That could equate to 8 kids at SHS alone!! In the 1950's, almost ALL kids diagnosed with cancer died... however, thanks to research, medicine and treatments, the outlook does not have to be so grim. Please help me be a part of a BIG movement to raise money for cancer research and finding a cure. There IS hope... and I can't help but want to be a part of that! YOU can be a hero for a kid.

SHS is participating in our 5th St. Baldrick's event on March 16. You can guarantee to see an entire school body to stand behind all those that are fighting, have fought, and families that have lost a family member to cancer. You can guarantee to see a lot of green, bald heads, green hair extensions, hair donations, tears, and also SMILES! But best of all... you will see LIFE! Our school goal is to raise $75,000 and my own personal mission is to raise $500.

In 2016, SHS raised $92,049 and $104,565 in 2014. I KNOW we can beat that!

Thank you so much in advance for your donation to such a BIG movement.

Help me in making a difference by raising money to find a cure! Too many people have suffered from cancer and it's time to put an end to it! I'm raising money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures. Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
