I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with:
Team Kyra
My name is Caden Schaefer and I am raising money for St. Baldricks. St. Baldricks is a non profit organization that raises money for childhood cancer research. Every year they have an event around St. Patricks day time where people raise money and shave their heads. In 4th grade, my dear friend Emily passed away from a DIPG brain tumor. It was heartbreaking. Every year since 5th grade, I have shaved my head in honor of her. This year, I have grown out my hair for the entire year, since the last St. Baldricks event and I am honored to be on Team Kyra with the Mc Mullan’s. I haven't cut it since. I wrote this letter in hopes of getting donations from you. It would mean so much to me. I love doing this every year because it goes towards a great cause and it has a lot of sentimental meaning. My goal this year is 2,500 dollars. I would really like to reach this goal. Again your donation would mean so much to me . Thank you so much.
Sincerely,
Caden Schaefer

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids
