401 N. Center Street, $100 Min Pledge in order to shave at this event, Reno, NV US
I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with:
Mel's Crusaders
I am beyond thankful and so excited to be celebrating my 8th shave with two of my cousins getting knighted into the Knights of the Bald Table! Everyone tends to have 20/20 hindsight when looking back on things, but if you asked me in 2009 when I first started shaving with my PIKE fraternity members on Sac State's campus if I would have seen myself doing this with my family for almost a decade I wouldn't have believed it!
This event is so heartfelt and is truly fulfilling seeing so many people fight to cure these terrible diseases and provide a better life for our future youth. St. Baldrick's is so close to my heart, not because of all the courageous people I've met or the amount of hair lost, but because I've grown closer to my family who continues to help others and provide unity in a world with such divide. I am honored to be a part of St. Baldrick's once again and encourage you to participate in any way possible.
I'm not asking you to donate a million dollars to an organization you might never know about. I am asking you to take the time to think about someone you know or someone a friend or family member might know who had their lives terribly altered or taken away forever. Now think about a future where pediatric cancer is vanished where no one will ever have to deal with the pain and angst of losing a child too soon. The cure is out there, be part of the world that changes the future forever!
Respectfully,
Clark Jorgensen
