I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Bald for Bisaga

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Bald for Bisaga

Back in the fall of 2017, Andrew Bisaga was living a normal 12yo boy's life--going to school, doing his homework, playing video games, hanging out with friends and family, participating in sports, etc. He was partway through football season when he started having pain in his leg, and it seemed to be a groin injury (a common injury in football). When the pain didn't get better, his parents brought him in for an x-ray, which showed a questionable area in his femur. After an additional scan and then biopsy, Andrew was diagnosed with osteosarcoma (bone cancer) and started chemotherapy only a few days later. The next step is surgery, more chemo, and recovery as his body heals.

Andrew has coped with so much these past few months and still has a long road ahead, but he has been a fighter! His spirits are high regardless of what he is going through, and he is showing tremendous courage. He is an amazing kid, and his family and friends could not be more proud.

We started the Bald for Bisaga team to help in the fight against childhood cancer in the hopes that better therapies will be developed and more lives will be saved. Childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded, so we decided to do something about it by raising money for cures. Plus, it will be fun to see all these people shave their heads for Andrew!

Now we need your help! Will you join our team? Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers, like Andrew. Please consider supporting this cause in his honor! Thank you so much. LET'S GO BALD FOR BISAGA!
