I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! In 2007 I witnessed my first head shaving event and thought I could do that!. I set out to prove that if a person sets forth a little effort, they can make a difference.  My goal for my 1st shaving was $1,000 and I surpassed that far beyond my expectations. My 2nd shaving in 2012 brought tears as I again surpassed my goal! I was truly inspired by the stories of the kids we are helping, and by the generosity of my donors. This year I am praying to match what I raised last time. Things are differet for me this year. This time I have a 5yr old daughter. This time I don' have the time available to travel door to door as I did in the past. I refuse to give up though! I need to show my daughter how one person CAN make a difference!

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
