I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Bald Birds

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Bald Birds

This is the 8th year in a row that I have shaved my head to raise money for St. Baldricks! This year is particularly meaningful to me. As some of you know, my cousin's daughter Piper recently underwent chemo for Burkitts Lymphoma, a very aggressive but very treatable form of cancer. Thankfully, roughly 4 months and many trips to Riley later, she is cancer free! If you are interested, you can read about her journey here: http://prayersforpiper.com/ and if you want to cry, you can watch some videos of her last day at Riley here: http://bit.ly/2DvfhFI I would love for more stories like this to have happy endings so I will continue to raise money and shave my head for St. Baldrick's for as long as I can.

Also, this year as part of our 20th anniversary, some of my coworkers at Rare Bird, Inc will be participating in St. Baldrick's as well! I'm very excited to welcome new St. Baldrick's participants and join them in their experience of getting their heads shaved for the first time for this great organization! Check out our team page: https://www.stbaldricks.org/teams/baldbirds

Cancer sucks and it affects everybody, from children to seniors. I'm not smart enough to find a cure for cancer, but the least I can do is raise money to support the people that can. Please help me reach my goal by contributing to this great cause and together, we can help find a cure! Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
