I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Go 8 Blue

On April 27th, Michael will be joining many members of the Grayslake and surrounding communities to shave his head and help raise money for childhood cancer research.  This will be his 3rd year participating in this event, and every year, he has a little more understanding of why this is so important.  When I asked him this year why he shaves his head, his response was "To help little and big kids who are sick and don't have hair."  When I ask him if he will shave his head, there is no hesitation.

Last year he raised $475, and this year he is aiming for $600.  He has been so fortunate to have the support of so many of our friends and family.  You are teaching him empathy and love, which is such a great gift.  Your continued support is greatly appreciated!
