I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Greetings! So it all started in third grade. We as a school were asked to participate in St. Jude’s Math-A-Thon to help raise money for children with cancer. At the time, I had no idea what cancer was nor did I understand the concept of this fundraiser, but of course once my grandma explained to me what it was I was all for it; I continued to participate in the Math-A-Thon years after. Ultimately, children (even teenagers) deserve a fighting chance to grow and live a wonderful and beautiful life. To make that happen, it is up to people like me and to anyone who chooses to participate in events and charities, such as this one, to raise money to help find a cure for cancer. I may not know what it is like to lose a child to cancer, but I do know the feeling of losing two grandparents to it, so I can imagine what it is like for a parent to lose their little one. So please, help me raise money and come watch me shave my head for this fight in helping find a cure!
