I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

As many of you know, these first few months of married life have been a bit crazy for Sam & I. Even though we’ve been told time and time again that Sam was “blessed with the best kind of cancer to get,” it’s been frustrating, challenging, and sometimes scary.

Despite our worries, we’ve been thankful that Sam’s type of cancer is thoroughly researched, funded, and treatable. This isn’t the case for every type of cancer though. Especially all the types that affects tons of kids every day. I can’t even imagine not having a treatment plan for Sam, yet families of childhood cancer patients go through that daily.

So let’s take childhood back from cancer! Every bit helps - each and every dollar donated goes to fund research and treatment of childhood cancers. If you can’t afford to donate before my cutoff date (January 31), send up a prayer for affected families, send a “get well” card to a local hospital, or even share this post so your more “fancy” friends can donate for you!

Thanks in advance, guys!

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
