I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Beals & B.I.L.

Hi everybody!!!

Dan Beal here - music teacher from Lawrenceville Elementary School and Teen Music Minister at St. Andrew's Church in Newtown, PA.

Last year, in March 2017, I was asked by Drs. Melissa and Mike McCue to be the MC at the Lawrenceville St. Baldrick's Event at Amalfi's. I had no idea what to expect, but I was excited to see what it was like.

At the event, I was simply blown away! I was so profoundly moved as I watched so many people - boys/girls - men/women - get their heads shaved to help kids with cancer! I had the pleasure of announcing every single name that day... and it was so special to me.

This year... I am taking the plunge for the first time... I am getting my head shaved for the first time!! I haven't cut my hair since the end of October and a whole bunch of hair is going to hit the ground when I brave the shave on March 10th. I am so thrilled to have two of my brothers joining me - Tommy, and Joey Beal - and my B.i.L. Mike (B.i.L. of course stands for Brother in Law which explains our team name: "Beal Brothers & B.i.L. ".

This event has become incredibly special to me, and I am so excited to be doing something that is going to make the difference in kids lives that are dealing with something so difficult and life changing.... I will proudly "Rock the Bald" starting on March 10th, and my brothers and I are hoping to raise as much money as we can!

Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers. No donation is too small - $5, $10, $25, $50 or more would be greatly appreciated and help us maybe even surpass our team goal of $500.

Stay tuned to see some awesome AFTER photos once we all brave the shave! Thank you in advance so much for your support! On March 10th, we are ready to ROCK THE BALD for the kids!!
