Dear friends:
Thank God 2017 is finally behind us. It will go down as one of the worst years of my life.
In January, a dear friend and co-worker of mine was badly hurt in a car accident. A month later I watched as two friends buried their teen-age daughter. And in late December, we found ourselves together toasting another friend who died suddenly. Not a month went by that someone I loved wasn’t affected by illness, death or the loss of a job.
That’s why I want to start 2018 on a positive note. And I need your help.
On March 25, I’ll be one of many who will go under the clippers at Kitty Hoynes Irish Pub & Restaurant. I am getting my head shaved to raise money to fight pediatric cancer.
I’ve set a lofty goal of $20,000. You how I am when it comes to raising money for a good cause, whether it’s the McMahon Ryan Child Advocacy Center, Sloan Kettering Cancer Center or Cystic Fibrosis. I give everything I possibly can. This is no exception.
This is something you can help me achieve. Please help me reach our goal of making 2018 a year we can all be proud of.
Thanks.
Mike Ziemann
