I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research
I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.
This November, Beta Theta Pi's Iota pledge class will be shaving our heads to raise money for children's cancer awareness. This will be my third year participating in St. Baldricks with almost $3,000 in donations behind me. I'm looking to raise $1,000 this time around, but that's not to say that I plan on exceeding that goal. Let's all get together to help end children's cancer once and for all!
