I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research

I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research

I'm raising money for childhood cancer research! Why? Because David asked me to as he was dying from his own cancer.  This year he would be turning 18 and graduating high school, selecting a college and on the cusp of so many milestones.  I miss him so deeply and on February 10, 2018 he will have been gone for 7 years.  That seems impossible but it is the reality.  Since he died, I've met hundreds of families who have also been touched by childhood cancer.  We need to fuel the research engine and get the ideas out of labs and into treatments for kids.  You can help with a $7 gift (in honor of the years lost) or $18 (his next birthday) ($46 in honor of my birthday on 2/13) or by signing up to shave and fundraising yourself or giving any amount you can to our event.  My personal goal is $1,800 - with your support I can get there.

Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.  Do it for David. You are David's Warriors and together we can make his final wish a reality! THANK YOU!
