I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Benny's Buddies

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Benny's Buddies

Hi friends!

Dave and I are shaving our heads to raise money to fight childhood cancer! Dave's brother Craig was a leukemia patient when he was a child, and was saved by what was then “experimental” cancer treatment. With your help we’d like to honor Craig, and support kids like Benny (https://www.stbaldricks.org/ambassadors#benny) who is fighting a brain tumor.  Benny's quite the fundraiser in his own right! We are also honoring two local children, Emma and Jazmin, and their stories are below.

While Dave and I are old hands at supporting cancer fighting charities, this time our perspective is different. Dave was diagnosed with prostate cancer in April and began treatment just a few weeks ago. Thanks to the many advances in cancer treatment we're planning on him making a full recovery. Facing this kind of thing as an adult is one thing, but a child should NEVER have to go through cancer treatment like Craig and Benny have, and that’s what we’re out to change.

Please help us help Benny and other kids like him by contributing generously -- every donation reminds me that 'bald is beautiful'!

Stay tuned for pictures of the Big Shave!

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
