I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Renfree And Friends

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Renfree And Friends

Truth be told, I was ignoring the group messages from my family(Team Renfree) because I tried to avoid the call I knew was coming. "I" wanted to keep my hair, and was afraid it wouldn't grow back. My cousin Mary, through private message, asked me specifically to consider participating. I told her to pray for GOD'S WILL, as I carefully contemplated my role. You can't out run GOD, and there is no where to hide. I thought of the many, men, women, and children who had lost their own hair NOT BY THEIR CHOICE. I KNEW, as these thoughts swirled, my choice was YES. My hair will grow back, but my friends and family members have fought long hard battles, and some were called HOME, TO HEAVEN. For these close to me, or any one that faces this disease with such COURAGE AND BRAVERY, I WILL GO BALD FOR YOU. For me personally, it is a defining moment that my beauty is NOT SKIN DEEP, but JESUS CHRIST who LIVES in me. I am trading my "crown of glory, FOR HIS GLORY. This, IS HIS STORY. So be it. AMEN!!! *** "For the grace of God, there go I."
