I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Sigma Pi Fraternity

Description:

Hey everyone, on April 24th I am going to be shaving my head along with my Fraternity to raise awareness for childhood cancer research. Last year we received over $7,000 in donations and we are hoping to even exceed that amount this year. The reason we do this every year is to show the kids that we are in the fight with and for them. Cancer has been a big part of my life and it's why I feel so strongly supportive of this event. My mother, who is one of the strongest people I've met, actually survived the fight with breast cancer. It was one of the hardest times in my entire life but it was great to have the support of my friends throughout the fight. Now I want to help in the fight with raising awareness of childhood cancer research to help save lives of our youth. I hope you take time to read all this information and please donate because anything helps, even just sharing my page. Thank you!

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
