I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Zolopht

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! I have been looking for the perfect event to do so and I finally found a date that works. I decided to be a team captain of team Zolopht. Anyone who wants to join, let me know! I'm still not quite sure how this all works but as I learn more I will update. Much love and look forward to reaching my goal!

We are challenging every band around the world to help raise funding and awareness for childhood cancer research by “braving the shave”. The band that raises the most money will be invited to play with Zolopht in the Rock The Bald Heads Concert – later this summer (TBD) at Warehouse 2565.

The Shave-a-Band Challenge works in two ways:

1) Bands Sign Up - Click on the "Join Me" Button at the top of the page to register your band, sign up band members to shave and donate on your own head.

Once registered, a St. Baldrick’s “Band URL” is created to allow “Sharing” (a lot of times) through social media for followers to DONATE “on their heads”. The main shave head event will be held on June 24th in Grand Junction. If the band can’t attend, they can shave and post their “virtual shave “ video from anywhere in the world to be a part of something great for kids!

2) Shave-a-Band Support Group - Don’t want to shave? Any band can back another band by, “DONATING” to a band of choice through that band’s St. Baldrick’s “Band URL” then, “Sharing” (a lot of times) to all your band’s followers. Look for band/member under “Top Teams” on link below

We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
