I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with:
Marlowe 6th Grade
Hello. I am Pranav, a 6th grader in Marlowe Middle School. I want to give my hair to those who have cancer. Which means I want to go bald. And I need help from you. Every cent you donate to me goes to the St. Baldricks Foundation. As you know St. Baldricks Foundation helps people with cancer. So even a dollar counts. When I first heard of going bald I was like "I am not doing that". I mean who wants to lose their amazing hair? But because of the health condition called cancer children are losing hair and their life. So I want to help. When I said to my friends "I am wanting to go bald" they said it won't fit me. So I followed my friends instead of following my heart. But saving your hair is not as good as saving a life. If my hair is going to be made into a wig and given to the people who have cancer then I am up for it. I don't care what other people think. But I care what my heart says. And right now it says to donate your hair. And that is what I am going to do!

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids
Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
St. Baldrick’s started as a grassroots effort 25 years ago, driven by people who believe in helping kids with cancer.
