I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: The K Team

Dear Facebook Friends... I'm raising money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it every March by raising money for cures. I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers. I shave heads each year because I know all too well how it feels to loose someone you love to Cancer. My mom lost her battle in 2011. I shave heads to honor her, to help these brave children find a cure and to help in any way I can to finally rid our planet of Cancer. Please join me-Kim (shaver) -and my dear friend Kurt DeFilipps-(shavee). He has named our team-"The K Team!" Come get shaved, or just enjoy the fun event! Food trucks, firemen, police & police dog demos, amazing silent auction, pancake breakfast and so much more! TV cameras & radio stations are always there so smile for the camera. You can donate at the event or online if you click the link to my bio. LAFD / LAPD Fire Station 89 7063 Laurel Canyon Blvd. North Hollywood, CA See You THERE!
