I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures. I have chosen to do this in honor of Ryan C.  Ryan was diagnosed with Pre-B Acute Leukemia (ALL) when he was about my age, 8 years old . Ryan is a friend and classmate of my sister, Addy.  Ryan has a wonderful family, (his mom Kelly, his dad Chris, his sister Hannah and his brother Carter), and my family is trying to do all they can to help them. Ryan is going through a lot right now with his treatment, and I hope that by raising money for childhood cancer research and shaving my head, Ryan will feel that he is not alone in this fight.
