I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Cub Scouts Pack 238

Hello my name is Daniel Nertney and I am a St.Baldrick's Participant.St. Baldricks is a charity that raises money for childhood cancer. At St.Baldrick's all the participants shave their head to make those with cancer who lose their hair and need their head shaved feel comfortable. This will be my third time participating in St. Baldricks. This year I would like to honor my mom's friend's son Nicholas.  Nicholas is 3 years old and was recently diagnosed with Leukemia. Leukemia is a malignant progressive disease in which the bone marrow and other blood-forming organs produce increased numbers of immature or abnormal leukocytes. These suppress the production of normal blood cells, leading to anemia and other symptoms.  I need your help to help children like Nicholas.  Please donate and remember every penny counts.

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
