In memoriam: Terry Martz, March 17, 1950 - Aug. 19, 2016 (see photo gallery below)

For those of you who remember last St. Patrick's Day, the leprechaun will re-surface March 11 to get his head shaven courtesy of the ladies at Sport Clips Trinity Point. You heard that right...MY HEAD WILL BE SHAVEN and it will be raining orange hair!

I will arrive at Claddagh Irish Pub at Southside Works on a Saturday morning dressed as a leprechaun (see my profile pic up and to the left on this web page). So come on down and join me...I'll even spring for mimosas to get your day started right and grant you some Irish luck!

So why am I doing this? Simple, it's to help others. Cancer doesn't discriminate by age. Kids get sick. Sometimes they grow up and have serious delayed onset illnesses/complications. And sometimes adults get cancer. Each group of patients requires unique treatments. This is where the St. Baldrick's Foundation comes in and how you can help.

For those of you who know me, St. Patrick's Day is one of my favorite holidays between being German Irish and simply having an excuse to wear an entertaining costume :) It was also my Uncle Terry's favorite time of the year since his birthday was St. Patrick's Day. So it should come as no surprise this fundraiser connects with me. Let's make a difference and have some fun in the process by enjoying my impending baldness. lol

I CHALLENGE YOU TO BE PART OF THE SOLUTION.

If everyone can pitch in $5-10, collectively we can bring hope to many deserving kids and their families.

I hope to see everyone at Claddagh!
