I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: The Bald Eagles of WB

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: The Bald Eagles of WB

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research for a second year, and my son Brian, who is six, has pledged to join me this year as a shavee.  I am so proud of him, and glad that he is inspired to support such a great cause with me.  My daughter Danica has pledged to be our ambassador and tell people about St. Baldrick's, so this is a family effort!

Childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. My own children and my students inspire me every day to be brave, as do children facing life threatening illnesses.  And in this age of selfies, self absorption, and narcissism, this is a stand for empathy.  My hair will grow back, and I am proud to shave it off again to raise funds for a great cause.

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? As a mother and a teacher, this cause is very important to me. Every dollar - or share on social media - makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.

PLEASE FEEL FREE TO PASS THIS ON IN ANY WAY!   Thank you for your support!
