I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Hope For Daisy

I'm honored to have Luca, a cancer survivor, in my life- and I can't wait to become a baldy!

Luca was nearly 2 1/2 years of age when she was diagnosed with leukemia (ALL), and for the next 2 1/2 years her life revolved around radiation treatments and chemotherapy.  There were some very difficult times.  Ordinary sicknesses become extraordinary events often requiring hospitalization when immune systems are weak and over-taxed.  Fortunately, Luca has an inner spirit that is brighter than anything you can possibly imagine... and she's  a feisty fighter who, approaching age 7, is now a cancer survivor who sees nothing but a sunny road ahead!

Children should never need to undergo what Luca did, and the unfortunate mystery of cancer must be solved- which we will do!

It is an honor to join her father Pete in having our heads shaved for research into childhood cancer!

Thank you to all who support us in this endeavor!
