I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Fighting Irishman

Look at the Honored Kids. These are but a few I know, and way too many. These kids are the reason I shave my head to raise money for St. Baldricks. St. Baldricks funds pediatric cancer research, the very research that has given Patrick McSweeney, my son and Honored Hero, another chance at life. Without the cutting edge research and clinical trials, the options are very few for kids like him, with multiple relapses. He was diagnosed with ALL in 2004 and still in the battle. 13 years of being The Fighting Irishman. The other honored kids will never regain their childhood, and will always worry the Big C is lurking nearby. Sadly, cancer has taken the lives of many children. I'm not a research scientist. Instead, I shave my head to raise money to fund their work - work that has direct benefits in the life of Patrick, and those who know him. I am proud to be a Knight of the Bald Table, and 2017 makes my 11th year shaving my head to raise money for St. Baldricks! I need your generous support to continue the research which has had a dramatic impact in the outcomes of kids with cancer. Treatment breakthroughs can advance quicker and have a wider impact with the funds you donate to Team Fighting Irishman. Thank you and God Bless!
