Many have wondered why I am walking around with quite a mop on my head. Last year I participated in St. Baldricks and I shaved my head to raise money to help fight childhood cancer. I was born three months early weighting in at a whopping 2 lbs 9 ounces and I fought to survive. Today I want to help some very special kids fight to survive by going bald, so once again I am shaving my head for childhood cancer research!
Here is a little back story. In September 2016 I attended the IAFF fallen firefighters memorial in Colorado Springs Colorado. The day before I left I went and had my usual high and tight haircut. Well after returning home, after an amaizing weekend of remembering our lost brothers and sisters I decided to let my hair grow. I was hoping to have quite a bit of hair by now. Maybe, just maybe you might see a pony tail in my future! So... as you will see in photos from last year and this year I have a wee bit more hair to be removed. My goal last year was $150 and with your gracious help I hit $170. This year my goal is $500 and it would be SUPER AMAIZING to hit $1000. So give what you can or just come down and enjoy the fun as we go bald for childhood cancer. (More info on when and where to follow) I thank you for your support!
