Some say that I'm crazy and some have said to simply make a donation. Yet after watching the video for this cause, I was crying. I'm a "healthy" crazy, which I find more desirable than being normal and I'll leave the donation part to those a little "less" crazy than myself! Those who know my family history understand that cancer was fought by my son Brayden, twice. Although it has been years of remission for him, I remember details of his five year and six month fight like it was yesterday. The reality is, that until there is a cure, cancer will become real for someone today. We all know someone who has been forever changed by this nondiscriminatory disease. My life motto is "let my efforts be greater than my excuses". With that statement, let our giving begin, let my head get shaved, and let cancer eventually be a word that never "grows". Until we can make that a 100% guarantee, let's do our best to show those who have fought, do fight, and will fight that we are in this together.
Blessings and thank you in advance,
Carrie :)
