I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Richard's Friends

As most who know me know, I haven't had long hair for very long.  It's been an interesting few years as I've learned how to deal with it, alongside learning how to deal with a little girl's hair.  But now, it's time for the hair to go.

 I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

At this point, we're lucky, neither of our girls have cancer.  Yet both have been impacted by childhood cancer, in that they've both had schoolmates who were becoming friends, but suddenly disappeared, only to be heard about, as they battled cancer.  These aren't the kind of experiences that kids should have to have growing up.  

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
