I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Texas Royalty

I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Texas Royalty

In November of 2016, our 10 year old nephew, Sullivan Butler (also Texas royalty) was diagnosed with a medulloblastoma brain tumor. It quickly spread to his spinal cord. He recently completed proton radiation therapy and is now in his first round of chemo. Jeff Houston will be honoring him by shaving his head on March 18th. We would appreciate your support - leave any donation amount you wish...nothing is too small - because when we add it all up, more kids will beat cancer because they have found new ways to treat it!

Here's some more info about Sullivan: He lives in League City, Texas and loves Star Wars, bacon, swimming and playing the piano. He lives with his mom Jen and father Dan, and has two younger brothers, Cashel and Finn. We would appreciate your prayers for the Butler Family!

What in the heck is Texas Royalty? We're glad you asked. Jeff Houston is the 5th cousin, once removed from Sam Houston (or 1st cousin, five times removed...we don't quite understand genealogy enough to report this accurately - sorry).  Sam Houston was the first president of Texas and the ultimate defeater of Santa Anna at the Battle of Jacinto. (Santa Anna was the one who killed so many Texans at the battle of the Alamo). This ultimately gave Texas it's independence from Mexico. So Jeff and his nephew Sullivan (son of Jennifer Houston Butler) are direct descendants of Texas Royalty ;0)

Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So we decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

Now we need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
