I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Sactown baldies

Year six. Once again We take to the barber's chair to do our part in the fight against cancer.  While this particular event focuses on childhood cancer it is just one front in a larger war, a war that devastated us this year.  I think we all have been impacted by cancer in one way or another; family, friend, neighbor, ourselves, all of the above; so I know that we all have a stake in finding cures.  Lauri and I have been blessed with three beautiful grandchildren (and two fantastic children) and the thought of losing any of them to cancer is unfathomable.   It is for this reason and so many more that we continue to participate in this important event.

As with last year I have grown out my beard to add to the fun (Lauri is just shaving her head but would appreciate your efforts to get rid of my beard).  I thought about trying to use it for a comb over but I am not quite there yet so I guess I'll shave the beard too.  Please join us in the fight against childhood cancer by donating to St Baldrick's Foundation.

Thanks,

Rob and Lauri
