I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Delta Phi Epsilon

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.

Cancer has touched my life when my cousin Melissa was diagnosed her freshman year of high school with Hodgkins Lymphoma. I remember how hard it was for her to lose her hair, the embarrassment of having to wear a hat at school and play her basketball games bald. Like always, she defied the odds and kept going despite not having hair and focused on becoming cancer free. On January 2nd, 2013, we got the news she was officially cancer free and has been for the last 4 years. I do this in honor of her fight and the bravery she showed me.
