I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Apr 12, 2017 • 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

When I first heard about Ava Lee and her fight against cancer - about how she battled illnesses since birth, how she underwent multiple rounds of chemotherapy, and how her illness eventually progressed into realms where there were no more known treatments - I wished there was something I could do to help. And even though I hope to one day fight cancer as a pediatric oncologist, I hoped there was something I could do in the nearer future.

So I decided to participate in the fight for cancer cures by participating in the St. Baldrick's fundraiser - to raise money and donate my hair.

Please help me as I donate my hair for this cause (1 inch for every $100 raised). Every dollar makes a difference, and donations of any amount are much appreciated and needed by thousands of children fighting childhood cancers.

Thank you very much!

In honor of the life of Ava Lee, who is now Home.
