I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: The Bald and The Beautiful

Thank you for all of your support in the past.  St. Baldrick's is only second to the US government in fund raising for childhood cancer research.  In addition as a team we are part of the largest fund raising event in the world here in Denver at Fados Irish Pub.  To me it is amazing that we are part of that. Last year we raised over $525,000 at Fados.

As many of you know Laura and I did not have the boys yet when I started raising money for St Baldrick's.  I wanted to be a parent but it had not happened yet.  I knew I would do anything for my child once I had one.  I was watching channel 2 news early in the morning and saw live coverage of the event, and I knew next year I would be a 'shavee'.  The next year I sitting in a chair getting shaved.  2 weeks later Laura and I welcomed Quinn into the world.

A child's life is suppose to be filled with joy and happiness of a full life ahead of them.  Cancer robs families of those dreams.  With our help we are able to put money into research for a cure that someday no parent or child will need to fear cancer.

I am very proud of my 2 boys Quinn (8) and Nick (7) who will be joining me again as Shavees.  (I keep trying to get Laura to join us but not yet)

Lastly, the event is March 10th at Fado's next to Coors Field.  If you have time come down and experience it.  It it is magical.  The stories of the lives we have helped will make you tear up with joy!
