I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Rally for Ryan

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Rally for Ryan

So this is my fifth year shaving my head! I learned about St Baldrick's through my college freshman as he helped to bring a head shaving campaign to Univeristy of Florida his freshman year. Being the good mom I was, I went up to see him shave his shoulder length goldilocks and my heart was touched. The following year, I met a nearly two year old in my physical therapy practice who required PT because of the effects of chemo she was receiving to treat her leukemia. Within two weeks, she went from being wobbly to losing many motor skills. I wished my son asked me to be on his college team to shave  but I didn't speak up. At the same time , a local female pediatrician had her first patient with cancer. We started our own team , at our local venue and we succeed quite well! And now although i''be relocated to the Virgin Islands, I still go back to Florida to shave my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! This year it is touching my heart almost as much as it did the first year as one of our kids has relapsed and we have to raise more funds for him! We have to find a cure for these families. I have seen the second hand effects of the adult chemistry on these kids. And childhood cancer is extremely underfunded!!

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
