I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

 Children's cancer is much different than cancer for adults. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. A great colleague lost her daughter to leukemia. Her amazing love and strength  has inspired me to help raise money for childhood cancer research.  I have an opportunity to shave my head to raise money for childhood cancer research in memory of Andrea.   No worries, it is only hair and will grow back!!!!  Now I need your help and invite you to make a donation to support the cause.  Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers. And the money that was raised last year went to Blank Children's Hospital here in Des Moines, so Iowa children benefit! We only live once, so I feel that shaving my head is a small part of giving back in a meaningful way. I may never have another opportunity to help these kids.
