I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Warriors for a Cure

Dear Friends,

Our team, "Warriors for a Cure" is open to all students, staff, faculty and parents in the Niskayuna schools. Together we can help St. Baldrick's to find a cure for pediatric cancer! Every 3 minutes a child is diagnosed with cancer worldwide. Childhood cancer is the leading cause of pediatric deaths in America. By the time they reach 20, one in 285 children will have been diagnosed with cancer.  As many of you know, my own brother was diagnosed with cancer at the age of 15. He died from his abdominal tumor when he reached 18 years old, after a heroic battle. So many families have stories like mine.
Thank you all for your support,
Dawn

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
