We all know someone who has survived cancer. We all know someone who is fighting cancer. We all know someone who has lost their battle with this awful disease. This year, for me, that someone is my father. He is fighting an aggressive form of bladder cancer that has also attacked his liver. There isn’t much I can do but be supportive and positive. In the meantime, I’ve decided to “brave the buzz”. I am raising funds for cancer research, so that maybe someday we will be able to say everyone survives cancer. Your donation will go to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation which provides money for research into childhood cancers. We need to save the youngest first.
