From Jackson's parents, Gregg and Kelly:
"Most of you know these anniversaries mean a lot to us. It offers an opportunity to pause, think back on what Jackson and our family has endured, give thanks, and use the gratitude to propel us forward as we continue to fight for cures and less toxic treatments.
In 2006 we attended our first St. Baldrick’s shave not quite knowing what we were getting ourselves into. Fast forward 10 years and we are believers! We now know children who are alive today because of research funded by St. Baldrick’s.
If you have 5 minutes to spare, I encourage you to watch this TedX Talk by Dr. Mike Jensen. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3kiDfLS0UXQ He is one of our favorite doctors/researchers and is developing ways to harness the body’s immune system to fight cancer…..and it’s working! St. Baldrick’s awarded Dr. Jensen and his colleagues at Seattle Children’s $1.86 million to accelerate this work."
Thanks,
Scott

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids
Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
