I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I have been participating in the St. Baldrick’s Fund Raiser for the last 4 years.  The 2016 event will be my 5th year, and this year it will have even more meaning, as this horrible disease has hit a little closer to home.   Shortly after last year’s event, we received a call from a family friend.  They wanted to let us know that their 14 year old daughter, Lindsey, was in the hospital and that they had found a mass in her chest.  Lindsey was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and the tumor was inoperable!  Over the last year, Lindsey has gone through multiple chemotherapy treatments and is currently in remission. On April 2nd I will once again shave my head to raise money for childhood cancer research!  If you would like to help out find a cure for this disease by making a donation, you can visit the following link to my page to make your donation.  https://www.stbaldricks.org/participants/mypage/837473/2016.
