I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Class of 2018

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Class of 2018

Yes, I can afford a razor and a haircut. Yes, there are mirrors in my house here in Shreveport. No, I haven't decided to drop out of medical school and live off the land in a remote forest somewhere. Sorry Mom, I will not be able to remove this glorious mane before the white coat ceremony. Why then, you ask, do I look so absolutely absurd and borderline unkept at times? Because I am growing my hair out in preparation to shave my head (and face) to raise money for childhood cancer research! I have had numerous opportunities because of my curly locks and robust beard to talk about the wonderful work that the St. Baldrick's Foundation does to raise money to fund the necessary and life-changing research towards cures for childhood cancers. Please, if you are able, give a small donation to help me reach my goal and continue the fight against childhood cancer!

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
