I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Markit 24 Hour Global Shave

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Markit 24 Hour Global Shave

Last year I supported St Baldrick’s by dying my hair green. This process was more extreme than I expected and I have since spent many hours conditioning my hair to get it back to what it was. This year, I am going the whole way and will be chopping my beautiful hair off for St Baldrick’s and also donating the hair itself to children who have undergone chemo and lost theirs. This is my decision - unlike the 175,000 children globally who are diagnosed with cancer who lose theirs through their treatment. In the past 15 years, St Baldrick’s has awarded grants in excess of $178,000,000 for research into childhood cancer – more than any other organisation except the US government. St Baldrick’s is able to do this only with the support of people like me, my family and friends who sponsor childhood cancer research, and corporate sponsors like Markit. If you would like to join me in supporting St Baldrick’s, please donate.

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
