I am shaving my head in honor of Luke and every single child who does not have a choice to lose their hair. Luke Ungerer was faced with the fight of his life. In March 2015 he was diagnosed with a rare brain cancer called glioblastoma multiforme. After months of treatment with proton beam radiation, chemotherapy, holistic medicines and an outpouring of love and support, Luke was taken from us way too soon. On January 14th he passed away just weeks before his 4th birthday. His parents Scott and Shelia Ungerer, who are dear family friends, have made their wish clear: to carry on Luke's Legacy through raising money to help others. Donations will be used to research pediatric cancer, which is so underfunded. Such donations will help prevent such a nightmare from happening to other children and their families. Please help me in honoring Luke and all children effected by pediatric cancer while raising money to aid in finding a cure in our near future for this devastating disease. We are small as individuals but can make a huge impact as a team. Go Team Luke.
Be it known to all that this participant has dedicated at least three years of service to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation helping kids with cancer throughout all the land.
St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids
Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
St. Baldrick’s started as a grassroots effort 25 years ago, driven by people who believe in helping kids with cancer.
