I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Taft Bulldogs

Hey, once again I’m going to shave my head. This is going to be my ninth year taking part in this wondertabulus event. My goal is to pass $40,000 total raised. Last year, all you guys helped me become a part of the Knights of the Bald Table. This is a honorable title that anyone can get if they shave their head for seven years. It really is a fun event, and most people (if you ask) will tell you that they enjoy participating. Thanks so much for all the past donations, but don’t let them stop just because I said that. In case you did not know, 80% of the raised funds go to cancer research. ONLY 3% GOES TO ADMINISTRATIVE COSTS! That is amazingly low. Every three minutes a child is diagnosed with cancer. That means in the time it took me to write this, over three kids now officially have cancer.  EVERY PENNY COUNTS!   Last year, our event raised just a hair under $37,000. This year, I want us to pass $40,000; if not even more. If you are just surfing the website wondering if you should sign up and take part, and you are sitting on the fence debating whether to sign up or just go back to watching that weird crazy cat video on YouTube, consider this your shove onto the sign up side of the fence. You will feel great after it is all said and done. As a plus, you get a free haircut! Thanks again for all of your support.
