I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Carder

For years, when my hair has given me fits (which is about a gazillion times!), I've said, "That's it!! I'm shaving my head!" And I never did. I'm all talk. Until now. And I couldn't be more thrilled (and a little scared - but that's BEING ALIVE!!!!) to finally put my money (and yours, I hope!) where my mouth is. I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. Which just sucks. I'm also thinking about all those kiddos going thru this, and their parents. Of course, being the mom to a child who has been in and out of hospitals for the first 6 yrs of his life, I know what it can be like (through a parent's eyes). It stinks. And it's definitely a little scary........ So I'd love to have your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers. I realize everyone seems to be asking for money for SOMETHING these days. But remember - just a couple BUCKS is better than $0. Hugs to EVERYONE who is helping me out! I'm gonna ROCK this bald (and slightly dented (didn't know that, didja? Well you'll see soon!)) head, baby!
