I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research
Last year marked the 5-year Anniversary of my cancer diagnosis. I am officially a survivor now! To mark the milestone of being a survivor for an entire year, I have decided to donate my hair! All 2 feet of it!
Being bald is no big deal but having cancer is! I wanted to raise money for St. Baldricks at the same time as making my own hair-donation. In order to do this, I won't be able to completely shave my head, but I'm going to cut my hair as short as I can while still being able to donate it.
PLEASE help me reach my fundraising goal ~ lets show the kids who are still in treatment that we support their fight. Maybe one day thanks to a St. Baldricks grant, there will be a cure for pediatric cancer. But it can't happen without YOUR support.... so come on and make it happen!! Show me some love and donate today....
... and then come to the St. Agnes Parish center on March 19th, 2016 and cheer me on as I say goodbye to my hair once again :)
