I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures. Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
The main purpose for me doing this is because a good friend of mine Colin Dowd who is on my golf team at St. Lawrence University was diagnosed with Cancer years ago. A tumor was found in his lungs and the doctors who found this rare form of cancer had Colin undergo intense chemotherapy and radiation immediately. With this being said, myself along with the rest of our golf team are shaving our heads on February 12 in honor of our teammate along with every other child who is currently battling or who has fought through cancer in the past.
